Green Thistle Emporium was born out of Stephanie Morrison’s love for quirky shops and her desire to protect the planet.

Nothing makes Stephanie happier than exploring an eclectic store filled with unique items that can’t be found anywhere else, and she is thrilled to offer just that through Green Thistle. But it’s much more than a fun place to shop. The word “emporium” is derived from words meaning “market” and “journey.” In ancient times, the marketplace was a central gathering point for the community. Not only a place to purchase food and household goods, it was also where you chatted with neighbors and built deep, lasting relationships. By showcasing local artisans and other small-business owners and offering fun and educational workshops, Stephanie hopes that Green Thistle will be a community hub that brings people together and fosters connection and friendship.

An avid lover of nature, Stephanie earned a master’s degree in environmental management and worked for a state environmental agency before starting her family. She is passionate about sustainable living and is excited to share that passion with the Fort Worth community. Sustainability is a journey—one that is best taken with friends.
